QUESTIONS ABOUT ONLINE GIVING

How will my giving support your programs?

Renaissance Community Services relies on generous support from organizations and individuals to  create change and positive impact in our disenfranchised community.  We provide hope, uplift the voice of the voiceless, and transform oppression into opportunities for progress and calm.  We do this through the delivery of information, advice and/or representation to individuals and families.  Weekly we distribute groceries, and clothing.  In addition we provide referrals for the homeless and near homeless which assist in keeping family units off the street.

When you donate to Renaissance, every dollar counts!

$       5.00 pays for a round trip on the local bus.
$     22.00 pays for a book of 20 on the local bus.
$     25.00 pays for one day rent.
$     35.00 pays for a bag of groceries.
$1,000.00 pays for the "Save A Family" program.

What is the advantage of online giving?

You avoid the hassle of writing and remembering checks.  You can prioritize giving in your budget.  Through online giving you expedite your gift, simplify our accounting, and strengthen our base of regular support.

  Is online giving secure?

Online giving is less risky than handwritten checks.  It cannot be lost, stolen or destroyed in the mail.  It has an extremely high rate of accuracy and is easier for the church accounting office to process.

How can I get a receipt of my online gift?

You may print out the confirmation screen as your receipt.  Also, you can ask for a statement of contributions as well.
